Symptoms of tension headache may include:

• Dull headache

  • Pressure or squeezing in nature

  • Band-like pattern around the head

  • Typically bilateral (both sides)

  • Typically mild to moderate, less often severe

• Shoulder pain or tightness

• Neck pain or tightness

• Scalp tenderness

• Fatigue

• Difficulty focusing

• Mood changes
